The application allows users to explore the city on the move in order to give a great experience of the city. The application includes maps and video of four walking routes as well as information in regards to the key tourist sites, transport link and local restaurants. Qatar Airlines has just launched a new and free Doha city tour for passengers transiting through Doha. Qatar Airlines and Qatar Tourism Authority formed an alliance for providing an unique experience to the transiting passengers. In order to benefit from this service the passengers have to be in transit between 5 to 12 hours in Doha. The tour will take approximately 3 hours and it will include visits to important areas around Doha city: Museum of Islamic Art, West Bay area, Katara Cultural and Heritage Village, The Pearl Qatar and others. UPDATE: According to Malaysia Airlines (2014) the incident happened around the southern Indian Ocean. Malaysia Airlines's aircraft goes off the radars somewhere above Vietnam's Ca Mau  peninsula according to BBC. The Boeing 777-200 was carring 227 passengers nationals of China/Taiwan (154 including infant), Malaysia(38), Indonesia(7), India (5), France (4), USA(3 including infant), New Zeeland(2), Ukraine(2), Canada(2), Russia(1), Italy(1), Netherlands(1), Austria (1) and Australia(6) and 12 crew members. Malaysia Airlines is still carring the search and rescue mission as currently they could not establish the exact location of the aircraft. Dubai has won the award for the  World’s Best Tourism Film. 'Definitely Dubai ' film which was created by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and  Dubai production house Eclipse Film Production,  competed with other 1,400 films. Recently I came across a very useful website  https://www.khanacademy.org/   which offers free videos for learning Math, Science, Economics and Finance and Humanities which are essential in everyday life. There are useful videos in all these sections that implicitly relate to tourism, as tourism can be based on different topics, areas and so on . Do have a look at the website.

There are 5 main sectors in travel and tourism: I. Hospitality sector II. Attractions and Events sector III. Transport sector IV. Travel organisers and intermediaries sector V. Destination organisation sector (Middleton et al. 2009). According to the AMA (American Marketing Association, 2007) marketing is the activity, set of institutions and processes for creating, communicating, delivering and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients , partners and society at large.

Heritage in regards to Tourism Smith (2006) states that heritage is the naturalisation of the practice of conserving and passing on to future generations as well as promoting a set of Western elite cultural values as being universally applicable. Heritage Tourism is basically an immersion into the 'natural history, human heritage, arts, philosophy and institutions of another country or region'(Timothy and Boyd, 2003).
