Olympics 2012, London

This year London had a lot of events on stage... Starting with the fireworks from New Years Eve and continuing with the Queens Jubilee and followed by the Olympics which is supposed to be a great event that will boost up the economy, the tourism, the infrastructure and many other things. But looking back at all these events is anyone considering what these things can cause the natural environment?! Well for now let's concentrate on the big event the Olympics ... London Attractions

I have just recently been to London Zoo and I was very impressed by the staff there and also by the animals that they have and the way they care about them. I think if you are in London you should not miss visiting the London Zoo you will really be impressed and the fact that they have a pool of sweet penguins it's really amazing. Other main attractions are: London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Oxford Circus for some quick shopping, London Aquarium, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, National British Museum ... Everyone heard about Egypt in a way or another, either it be for it's amazing pyramids, by it's amazing people or ancient populations that owned the land many centuries ago. Egypt is a land full of culture which makes it a great destination for the people that enjoy learning about the past and history and why not of the ancient cultures, in some way learning about the religion that was in the ancient time. Genghis Khan: the founder of the Mongol Empire

We can think of the wars for conquering different places to form different Empires from the point of the tourism. While conquering different places the Emperors created legends related to the places that now are visited by tourist so that they can educate themselves. Tourism provides not only a way of spending the free time but also provides many other things like discovering new places, educating oneself, learning about different cultures etc.  Genghis Khan was the founder of the Mongol Empire and that was supporting culture, literacy and law for his Empire. The video below shows how Genghis Khan managed to create the Mongol Empire and also show the different places that he conquered. His Empire was stretching from the Pacific to the Black Sea. This war of conquering different places can be seen as a struggle to create an Empire that will not be forgotten by people and that in the future will be looked at from different points including the tourism point of view, and why ...
